BLAKE LIVELY'S RAINY DAY HAIR TIP

Blake Lively Has the Answer to Rainy Day Hair—And It's Anything But Basic
It’s been a soaked scene at New York Fashion Week, with umbrellas factoring unexpectedly well onto the street style scene, where attendees' lengths could be found wound in a bevy of up-dos designed to hold their own amid the drizzle.

So it comes as no surprise that, for last night's premiere of A Simple Favor at the Museum of Modern Art, Blake Lively offered up her own take on the art of the rainy day mane.

The actress took to the red carpet with her bombshell blonde woven into an intricate braid slung over one shoulder, a slicked-back crown giving way to a plait that was threaded with a diminutive version for that extra bit of texture.

Rather than coupling the eye-catching tie-back with a simple makeup moment, Lively went all in, a pressing of burgundy eye-shadow coloring the outer corners of her glacial gaze for a hazy take on the graphic cat eye.

The low-slung style was simple in its execution yet undeniably chic, an above-neck option onlookers are bound to emulate as the weather begins to worsen.

Because the rainy day blues are a fact of life, so why not let the moisture inspire a bit of length-level creativity?
